Bomber Girls

This is the first photograph in a series taken specifically to be included in the Bomber Girls art show by The Humble School of Arts and Music in Brookline, Massachusetts. Most of my inspiration came from the photos that I saw that Gil Elvgren used as reference for his paintings back in the 30's, 40's, and 50's. I liked the idea that the photos that I had taken could have been used as reference, too. As it turns out, a few of the photos from these shoots ended up being used as reference by my husband, Benn, for his Bomber Girls paintings
